Making access affordable
Good advice should not depend on knowing whom to ask, nor on accepting a price you do not know.
Many people and small businesses put off consulting a lawyer or an economist. Some because they are not sure the matter warrants it, others because they fear a cost they cannot foresee. The outcome is familiar: deadlines missed, contracts signed without a careful reading, small problems that grow.
We try to lower these barriers in concrete ways. The consultation can take place online, without coming to the office. The most common services have fixed prices, published in our fee schedule. Routine documents are prepared from reviewed templates, which reduces the cost without lowering the standard.
With the Lexea platform, currently in development, we will go further: free legal information, calculators and guidance on the right service for each situation, available at any hour.
This commitment is shared with the networks and partnerships in which we take part, in particular the Ethical Legal Alliance and Norma, with whom we run legal literacy initiatives.
